Located on 68 acres in the Cascade foothills, Challenger Ridge represents a mixture of turn-of-the-century homestead life, world class wines, and modern outdoor accommodations. Sample and purchase our award-winning wines in the original homestead built in 1901. As Washington State's premiere producer of estate Pinot Noir, Challenger Ridge offers you the opportunity to take a walk through our acres of vineyards while enjoying a glass of wine made from those very same vines. Or play a game of horseshoes while sharing a bottle with friends. If you are looking to enjoy the winery for more than one afternoon we have acres of space for camping, the cost of which is always one bottle per person per night. For a perfect nightcap, sip on some of our estate brandy as you stargaze on the banks of the Skagit River.
In addition to our award winning wines, Challenger Ridge also produces hand-crafted estate brandy and eaux de vie. As Washington's only estate Pinot Noir grower vinifying specifically for brandy products, our brandy program is on track to produce world-class spirits for years to come. Tastings available in our tasting room.
Pinot Noir is our focus but Challenger Ridge also produces high quality, award-winning wines from Eastern Washington. We work directly with growers to select grapes from the best vineyards in Washington. Visit our Wines and Spirits section to learn more.
